West, South tie for state tennis title and Dimond's Debenham sisters win 3rd straight state title

Anchorage (KTUU) West and South tie for 2019 state tennis team title, the first tie in tournament history. Both teams scored a total of 105 points.

For individual results, the girls doubles title belongs to the Debenham sisters from Dimond.

Layna and Kate Debenham win state for the third straight year in a row.

For boys doubles, that title belongs to West's Jack Coulter and Ethan Picket.

In the singles division, girls singles state champion is Chugiak's Emilee Groth, while boy's singles belong to South's Gariel Portal.

Rounding out individual places, in mixed doubles, the state champions are Steve Kilkenny and Carter Nelson.
