Alaska Bites: Europa Bakery makes sourdough from starter more than 20 years old

New Sagayas Europa Bakerys sourdough process begins with a starter that is more than 20 year old. This starter, I can track it 20 years back, said Mark Bauer, the Vice President of New Sagaya. We think its a lot older than that. Their process takes two days for the bread to mix, form, proof, bake and cool.
